We understand how terrifying appearing in court can be, and how having the right lawyer by your side can alleviate your stress. We have over 18 years of combined experience in the District, Family and Circuit Courts and are ready to assist you with your legal needs. 

PRACTICE AREAS

CRIMINAL DEFENSE (STATE AND FEDERAL)

With over 18 years of experience in the District, Family and Circuit Courts, Ms. Glendon has handled all manner of criminal trials, from traffic matters to complex Class A felonies to juvenile criminal defense cases. She  expanded her practice to include Federal criminal defense. She has extensive experience in bench and jury trials, and will help navigate you through your case from beginning to end.  

TROs (FAMILY AND DISTRICT COURT)

Since opening her private practice, Ms. Glendon has handled a range of Family Law cases from divorce to custody to adoption. She now focuses her Family Law practice on TROs and juvenile criminal defense. She utilizes her experience with the various aspects of Family Law to guide you through the difficult process and ensure fair treatment and zealous advocacy.

Ms. Glendon's practice includes representation in personal injury and general civil litigation cases.

Crystal K. Glendon was born and raised in Hawai'i on O'ahu and the Big Island. She graduated from The Kamehameha Schools Kapalama in 1996. Ms. Glendon then earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Hawai'i at Hilo in 2020, where she double-majored in English and Political Science. She graduated from the William S. Richardson School of Law in 2003, where she was a member of the University of Hawai'i Law Review, Environmental Law Society and the esteemed Ete Bowl. 


After graduating from law school, Ms. Glendon clerked in the Circuit Court of the First Circuit for the Honorable Karen S.S. Ahn, followed by another clerkship in the Circuit Court of the Third Circuit for the Honorable Greg K. Nakamura. In 2004, Ms. Glendon accepted a position with the State of Hawai'i Office of the Public Defender in Honolulu, where she served as a Deputy Public Defender for almost 15 years before opening up her solo practice with the Law Office of Crystal Glendon, LLLC in 2019. While at the Office of the Public Defender, Ms. Glendon was a trials deputy in the District, Family and Circuit Courts, spending the last five years of her practice as a Deputy Public Defender IV focusing on Class A and B felony trials. She handled all levels of criminal charges, from traffic and misdemeanors to Family Court juvenile and jury trial matters to complex felonies, including sexual assault, robbery and murder. 


In 2020, Ms. Glendon was appointed by Governor David Ige to served as a member of the Defender Council, the governing body of the Office of the Public Defender. In 2021, she joined the Board of Directors of Paepae o He'eia, a private non-profit organization dedicated to caring for He'eia Fishpond located on the island of O'ahu.


In addition to State and Federal criminal defense, Ms. Glendon practices in the area of Family Law, including TROs and juvenile criminal defense. She also handles District Court TROs.
